8. OBS Studio Support
Starting from YanusLIVE version 1.4.3, video input and control through OBS Studio are supported. This feature allows you to input standard USB cameras into YanusLIVE as a virtual camera in real-time,
OBS Studio WebSocket Control Support
Added OBS Studio as an option in the YanusLIVE HyperDeck window's 'Device' combo box.
When connecting to OBS Studio, the following automatic settings are applied.
OBS Video Settings to USB Camera settings (Frame Rate, Resolution Width/Height).
Select USB Camera mode and OBS Virtual Camera device, then start Actor Mode.
Note: The Start Virtual Camera button in OBS needs to be pressed manually.
Local recording via OBS
Set the local path to OBS Output > Recording Tab > Recording Path when connecting or when settings change.
Set the recording filename format via OBS Advanced > Recording > Filename Formatting.
Note: When OBS Output > Output Mode is set to Advanced, recording can be paused.
1. YanusLIVE Settings for OBS Studio
In YanusLIVE, no special settings are required to connect with OBS Studio. The connection can be made with the default settings. OBS Studio must be installed on the same PC as YanusLIVE, and the port and password settings in OBS must match.

2. OBS Studio Settings for Connecting with YanusLIVE
In the OBS menu, go to Tools → "WebSocket Server Setting", and check "Enable WebSocket server".
Note. When using "Enable Authentication," enter the same password in "YanusLIVE > Settings".
To connect with YanusLIVE, you need to run "Start Virtual Camera" in OBS Studio. Then, in the Actor window of YanusLIVE, set the Actor Mode to USB Camera and choose OBS Virtual Camera as the Capture Device. Once connected, press the play button to start.

OBS Studio "Video" Setting
In the OBS Studio menu settings, go to the "Video" section and change the "Base Resolution" and "Output (Scaled) Resolution" to 1280 x 720. (This setting can affect the performance of the PC, so it is recommended to set it to 720p resolution.)
Also, adjust the "Common FPS Values" to a value between 30 or 60, according to the supported frame rate of the camera. (If 60 frames are supported and the PC performance is good, select 60 frames.)
OBS Studio "Output" Setting
In the OBS Studio menu settings, the "Output Mode" in the "Output" section must be changed to "Advanced". This will allow you to set the "Recording Path", which will automatically be matched to the path set in YanusLIVE.
Additionally, in the Output section, go to the Recording tab under Recording Settings and select either MP4 or MOV as the recording format. Also, choose a hardware encoder such as NVIDIA NVENC H.264 under the Video Encoder option.
OBS Studio "Advanced" Setting
In the OBS Studio menu settings under the "Advanced" section, the "Filename Formatting" for recording is automatically synchronized with the recording name option in YanusLIVE.
4. Automatically configure settings and start with a single click of the "Connect" button.
When you select OBS Studio from the device menu and press the Connect button, the HyperDeck mode switches to OBS Studio mode, and the interface changes accordingly.
Double-click on the video file to switch to play mode, and use the Live option button for one-click switch to Camera mode.
Set the path and filename, then start recording. When paused, the indicator blinks yellow.
The pause button during recording is enabled only if the NVIDIA encoder is selected under the Video Encoder in the Output settings.
