# License

When the license is not activated, only the Actor Pane in YanusLIVE will be shown,\
and most buttons will be disabled.

To open the License window, go to Help Menu and select License.

Copy and paste the License Key, then click the Activate button. If the license verification is successful, the YanusLIVE layout will reset and a confirmation message will appear.

When the license is activated, only the Deactivate button will be enabled as shown below.\
Once deactivated, the view settings will change accordingly.&#x20;

You can deactivate without entering the License Key, but to transfer the license to another PC, you must have the License Key ready.
