2-1. Device

This function allows the connection of HyperDeck by selecting its IP address.

To connect, enter the IP address in the Network tab under File -> Settings.

2-2. Slate and Take

  • Slate: The name of the recording file (supports alphabets and multiple languages including Korean, Japanese, and Chinese).

  • Take: Defaults to 1 and automatically appends the take number to the Slate name, increasing automatically with each take.

2-3. Record and Play Options

  • Record Option: File naming rules for recording Named Clip: Uses the Slate and Take inputs; if unchecked, the HyperDeck default naming rules are used. Actor Suffix: Appends the HyperDeck Actor ID Number in the format _{a01} to the file name.

  • Play Option: Video playback options Loop: Repeat playback Single Clip: Play only a single file

2-4. HyperDeck Tap / Local Tap

This section allows remote control of HyperDeck.

[SD card slot] : It includes options for selecting SD cards in the HyperDeck and managing video files.

Local tab: Manages video files on your HyperDeck.

[ Folder Path ] : Select and specify a local path.

Copy to Local: This is a button to copy files from HyperDeck to Local. Select a file in the HyperDeck tab and click Copy to Local. The file will be copied to Local.

Copy to HyperDeck: While connected to the HyperDeck, select a file from the Local tab and press the Copy to HyperDeck button to copy the file to the HyperDeck.

2-5. Live or Play

  • Live: A mode that allows real-time video input from YanusCAM and other sources through HyperDeck, with the option to record.

  • Play: A function for playing videos stored on the SD memory card in the HyperDeck.

  • Options include Record, Stop, Play, Previous File, and Next File modes.
